This website
This site has no forms, does not ask for personal information, sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising tools. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so when you open the page your browser connects to Google servers to download them.
The information you give us
The first conversation is by phone. To help you with your Marketplace health insurance we talk about how many people need coverage, your estimated income for the year and which doctors you want to keep, and you give us your email address to receive the consent form.
Before any personal information is reviewed, you sign a written consent. Nothing moves forward without that signature: it is a federal requirement and it documents that you authorized the work.
Who we share your information with
We share your information only with those who need it for your case:
- The Health Insurance Marketplace and the insurer of the plan you choose, to enroll you, renew your plan or make the changes you ask for.
- The providers that give the agency technical services, only to provide those services.
We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
How long we keep your information
The consent you sign and the record that you reviewed and confirmed the information on your application are kept for at least ten years, as federal Marketplace rules require (45 CFR 155.220(j)(2)).
The emails we send
We only send emails related to your case, to clients who have spoken with the agency. They are of these kinds and no other:
- The written consent, for you to review and sign.
- Reminders about that consent, at most three —one day, three days and six days after it was sent—, and only while it remains unsigned.
- A confirmation when you withdraw your consent.
- A copy of the signed document, when the agency sends it to you for your records.
- The link to your Form 1095-A, the Marketplace tax document, when the agency sends it to you.
We do not send newsletters, promotions or advertising, and we do not use your email address for marketing.
How to ask not to receive these emails
If you do not want to receive these emails, reply to any of them, call us at (786) 499-6941 or write to contacto@chinsuranceagency.com, and within two business days we will remove your address from your file, so we stop sending them.
If you have not signed the consent yet and want to continue with us, we will get it to you on paper to sign: without the signed consent we cannot move forward with your case, as explained in How it works.
How to withdraw your consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time by calling us at (786) 499-6941 or writing to contacto@chinsuranceagency.com. When you withdraw it, we send you a confirmation by email to the address in your file.
